We Sell it Hard

Okay, I think I’ve finally recovered my bearings after experiencing frequent and numerous musical orgasms at the hands of Boris. Now I can share some tunes I’ve been feeling lately that don’t involve Japan’s finest.

Re-Up Gang – “Real Niggas”

We start off today’s fine post with this track, which sees the Re-Up Gang ripping those razor blade flows over top of classic gangsta rap beats. Pusha T, Malice, Ab-Liva and Sandman spit kilos of coke all over famous beats lifted from tracks like “Gin and Juice,” “Deep Cover,” and “Nothin’ But a G Thang” to name a few. Be careful, “Real Niggas” is comprised entirely of fire.

Justus Kohncke – “26 Dollars”

This immense piece of minimal club-crushing electronic comes to us from Germany. “26 Dollars” is electronic music for robots residing in a neon utopia situated on the ocean floor. This song makes me want to take hard drugs and burn down a disco while laughing and dancing maniacally.

Cadence Weapon – “In Search of the Youth Crew”

The pride of Edmonton, Alberta, Cadence Weapon finally has a new album on the way! This cut from his upcoming album, Afterparty Babies sees Cadence Weapon terraforming the rap world with his dizzying flow and intricate wordplay. His accompanying beat has no trouble keeping pace, delivering blow-after-blow of speaker knocking bass within the confines of a slick electronic-inspired flavor. This is some must-hear shit. Trust.
